James Lavender is a freelance writer and academic editor. He received his MA and PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Leeds. From 2013 to 2015 he was the editor of the internationally recognised journal parallax. He also holds an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University.
