Ekaterina Pokholkova is associate professor at the Department for Korean Studies and Dean of the Faculty for Translation and Interpretation of Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU). A former president of the Russian Association of Korean Language Professors, her research addresses philology, specifically lexicology, language and discourse, as well as translation theory and praxis.
She has also translated modern Korean prose and poetry and has served as coordinator of numerous KLTI projects held in Moscow. She has vast and long (20 years) of experience in teaching Korean language and related courses at university level.
